Tuesday 18th March Monday 3rd March The Sun was sizzling hot on Monday the 10th February and making my eyes burn on fire. T he blue shimmering water was warming up like a volcano well it stood in the hot golden sun like the dancing wind.It was such a beautiful sight looking out the windows in the humungous bus and seeing the lovely seagulls swoop by like fire breathing dragons and the singing birds chirping like musical violins.Room 6d certainly had no idea for what the were up for at Howick beach for their first Water Wise Session. The Smell of the sea air was salty and crisps and made my taste buds zing. I could see the ocean crashing against the mighty vicious rocks. I was so pumped up to go to water wise
Finally 6d and I arrived at the beautiful wild Howick Beach. As I set foot on the lushes green grass it felt like it was taking over my feet. Firstly I charged towards the boat shed as fast as an blink of an eye as if I was getting chased by 10,000 missiles sky rocketing towards me. Hearing chattering noises everywhere. I popped on my life jacket as if i was going to die if i did not put it on. Just when i put the life jacket on it felt like 20,0000 pounds on me. The life jacket was so heavy I nearly dropped to the ground.Just after I put on the life jacket I had to hold my breath because it smelt like my brothers dirty socks mixed with rotten fish, it reeked but luckily I survived. EVERYONE GET ON THE GRASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!SHOUTED MR NICHOLS SCREAMING HIS HEAD OFF. So I bolted......to the smooth silky grass as fast as the speed of light. Hearing Mr Nichols chatter like a chattering box about safety at Water Wise was very interesting, my eyes popped out. I was so hyped up I could have talked my head off. It was super duper interesting. I learned about the different parts of an Optimist like the Painter,Kicker,Bailer,Mast,The Mast Restraint,Tiller and loads, loads more. One of them I know which is the tiller that helps you to steer the Optimist.
Next Mr Nichols Chucked us all ropes and taught us the different knots like the figure of 8 knot, the bunny knot and a other not that i forgot. It was super duper fun. After that we got to put up a Optimist by ourselfs in a group. It was fun putting it up. but there was one part that I hated was me getting sma cked with the pole. What happened was, liam my best friend was putting up the pole that holds up the tell tale so we can drive the optimist, dropped the pole and I got smacked in the head really bad. But there was one thing that cheered me up. I saved the best for last even though we got 5 minutes it was worth it we got to swim in the hurricaining seas. i jumped in the water it was heaps and heaps of fun but it came to a end. We had to wrapp up and head back to school. But my first experience at Howick Beach for Water wise Was Heaps and Heaps of fun.

My holidays 14/5/14
I heard gun shots hungry for blood I heard my brother scream “HELP ME” I saw bad guys camping for streaks I felt my hands sweating like burning hot lava I started to troll the campers till the end of the game I wondered if theses campers would notice me I wondered if they would stop camping
.
As another one of my mates passes me the slithery hose, I heroically pounce towards the drenched house. The slippery hose leaps right off my padded sweating hands. Strolling through the ashy lounge choking bits of ash I try to find survivors. But there is no sight of bodies except for scattered pieces of this doomed house. It is eerily quiet. It feels like you are all by yourself and someone is watching you. I entered an unusual room with confidence. I am so brave I have the heart of a ferocious predator. I try to locate survivors when suddenly lurking in the shadows, was I poor helpless kitten. I lift him up gently with no fear zooming right out of the house as fast as the speed of light. I quickly snatch the first aid kit and put the oxygen mask onto the poor little critter. One of my mates passes me the ice cold freezing water bottle. As its tiny paw moved an inch. I splatter the freezing water on the kitten. Times passes and hope fades. But then a miracle happens, the poor kitten rises from the dead. I feel like a hero. Years can go passed but I will never forget this moment.
